After covering about 940 kilometers across Germany, it's time to say goodbye for now.
But first, the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, Düsseldorf, was on the agenda. Then I continued through Neuss, Viersen, and Brüggen into the Netherlands.
On the other side, I was greeted by the usually beautiful Roermond, which was far too crowded. So I decided to quickly refill my water supplies and continue towards the Belgian border.
A wonderful little campsite on the outskirts of Budel, where arrived after 117 km of cycling today. If there's anything to criticize, it’s the super small showers. But friendly people and great WiFi make up for that.
Here I am now, the next morning, writing this entry. The bike is already packed. But the owner has invited me for Stroopwafels at 10 AM, and since the next stage to our office in Lier isn’t that far, I’ll be starting later today.
